Ducati Streetfighter V4 Prototype: new power for Carlin Dunne in the “Race to the Clouds”

Il 30 June 2019 we run again towards the clouds of Colorado. Carlin Dunne returns to the mantle of Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb riding one Ducati and a prototype which foreshadows something new and powerful: one Street Fighter V4.

The same note “Race to the Clouds”, the historic American hill climb, represents an interesting “test bed” to verify the sporting nature of the Street Fighter V4, taking up what has been reported. The same Claudio Domenicali, CEO di Ducati, anticipated that: “The Streetfighter V4 will be one of the protagonists of the Ducati World Première 2020”. A new creation already referred to as “the Panigale for road riding; there was therefore no better scenario than the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for what will be the highest performing Streetfighter ever put into production” added Claudio Domenicali, taking up the statement linked to this prototype.
According to previews, the appointment is scheduled for the next edition of EICMA twigs 7 al 10th November, while availability in dealerships from half di March of the 2020.
Among the aspects highlighted on the occasion are the heart, the already known one Desmosedici Stradale 1100 cm³, therefore specific profiles, a generous and raised handlebar, therefore a “pixelated” livery developed by Ducati Style Center, which emphasizes a muscular and sharp appearance, based on what is perceived.
After triumphing last year riding one Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak of “Heavyweight Division”, Carlin Dunne takes on the traditional time trial again in the classroom “Powersport Exhibition”. Dunne was also the first motorcyclist to have completed in less than 10 minutes le 12,42 miles of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, corresponding to approximately 20 kilometers (19,99 km). In 2012 he signed the time of 9'52.819 on a Ducati Multistrada 1200S, as mentioned by the manufacturer.
