The "Fight Formula" family

In fourth episode of the web series Ducati World Premiere 2022 sono status presentati i new Ducati Street Fighter V2 e Street Fighter V4 SP, further concepts of pure sportsmanship.

Ducati Street Fighter V2

An example naked with a sporty and distinctive design. A motorbike characterized by a sleek profile and a compact front, on which a refined luminous motif made up of headlights stands out full LED e DRL inspired by the Joker's well-known expression. Recalls that of the already known one Street Fighter V4.
A new result of “Fight Formula” Ducati without fairings and with high and wide handlebars, as well as a chassis derived from the Panigale V2, powered by a Superquadro engine present as a supporting element.
Designed for road use, Ducati Streetfighter V2 conveys sportiness and comfort at the same time. The riding position is designed to facilitate control, without tiring the motorcyclist. The motorbike is equipped with a 4,3-inch TFT instrument panel and there is a wide saddle with new padding, furthermore there are footrests which have been relocated again for overall comfort.

The electronic equipment is taken from the Panigale V2, listing a six-axis IMU inertial platform, three Riding Modes opting between Sport, Road and Wet with specific control settings and an electronic package that includes ABS Cornering EVO with slide by brake functionality, Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO and Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO.
By consulting the Ducati Performance catalogue, it is possible to select various accessories that allow you to embellish the style and performance such as the defined wings to promote even more pronounced performance when you take to the track. The electronic equipment can also be enhanced with accessories such as Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA + GPS) and Ducati Multimedia System.

The Superquadro engine, as mentioned, appears as a structural element and this is combined with the front structure consisting of a monocoque frame in shell-cast aluminium, linked to the head of the engine. Also associated with the heart is the rear single-sided swingarm longer than 16 millimetres compared to that of the Panigale V2. A functional choice for stability, given the absence of fairings.
The suspension part includes a Showa BPF front fork 43 mm and a Sachs shock absorber with dedicated calibration. The braking system is similar to that of the Panigale V2 with the presence of Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers and 320 mm diameter discs, but the pads are more suitable for road use as reported. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with five-spoke rims fitted with new Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires measuring 120/70 ZR17 and 180/60 ZR17 respectively at the front and rear. The dry weight of the model amounts to 178 kg.
The heart Supersquare da 955 cc is compliant with the regulations Euro 5. The maximum power is 153 horses at 10.750 rpm and the torque peak reaches i 101,4 Nm at 9.000 rpm. Compared to the sporty Panigale V2, the final ratio in this case is shorter (15/45 versus 15/43), facilitating greater torque at the wheel in road use and liveliness of the engine when power delivery is stressed.
Ducati Street Fighter V2 in robe Ducati red and with black circles will be offered in Ducati dealerships from December 2021.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP

The second interesting news of the day is an exclusive model in numbered version and characterized by the acronym “SP”, Sports Production. This is the most acrobatic naked created by the brand, associating the connotative "Fight Formula" with the aspects of an "SP" with a power/weight ratio refined compared to that of the Streetfighter V4 S, already at the top in the category.
Present a "Winter Test" livery designed by the Ducati Style Center taking inspiration from the Ducati Corse motorcycles used in the pre-season tests of the MotoGP and SBK Championships. A look characterized by the matt black that covers the superstructures, by an exposed brushed aluminum tank, by the matte carbon finish of the rims and wings and by the bright red details that further liven up the vision. Peculiar details are also visible such as the progressive number printed on the handlebars and the colors of the Italian flag visible in the most exposed part of the carbon wings.

The equipment also includes a carbon front mudguard, a lithium ion battery and accompanying elements that can be used during track days, such as the open carbon clutch cover and the cap for removing the license plate holder (please remember that these two elements are designed for exclusive use in closed circuits and their use on public roads is prohibited), furthermore there are also adjustable footrests made from solid aluminium.
The equipment of the Streetfighter V4 SP derives from the Superleggera V4 and the curb weight reaches 196 kg, three kilos less than the Streetfighter V4 S.
The suspension part is made up of Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 solutions managed by the "event based" system, capable of varying the damping based on the rider's riding style. The biplane wings are also functional. The braking system includes high-performance Brembo Stylema R® front brake calipers and the model is also equipped with 5 split-spoke carbon rims, which are 1,4 kg lighter than the forged aluminum ones, associated as standard with the Streetfighter V4 S. There is a reduction in the moment of inertia of 26% at the front and 46% at the rear, to support agility.

This model is animated by a heart Desmosedici Stradale da 1.103 cc. The power reaches i 208 horses and the torque delivered touches i 123 Nm at 9.500 rpm. The engine is associated with an STM-EVO SBK dry clutch capable of offering an optimized anti-hopping function and accentuated fluidity in "off-throttle" moments on the track.
Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP, which can be ordered from dealerships in the Ducati network from January, is in single-seater configuration.
