Ducati, Scrambler 1100 PRO and 1100 Sport PRO: a virtual summary of the features [VIDEO]

The peculiar aspects of the new ones Scrambler Ducati 1100 PRO and 1100 Sport PRO are described during a film, thanks to the help of virtual reality.

Between real and virtual

Il Brand Director Claudio De Angeli and Product Manager Rocco Canosa illustrate with the support of augmented reality the distinctive factors of the new Scrambler Ducati creations. A video enriched at the end with the story of producer Dario Callegher, recalling the experience in Miami, but also showing a nice "behind the scenes".

The new Scramber 1100 PRO and 1100 Sport PRO

The models are distinguishable by the livery, the equipment and the personality transmitted. The color contrasts, the chassis and the dark aluminum details on the 1100 PRO or the sideplates with the 1100 logo that characterize the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO are highlighted. The LED light signature with DRL lights is also connotative. An X motif inspired by the distinctive tape design applied to headlights during racing in the 70s. The rear light is also LED. The instrumentation is enclosed in an LCD instrument panel. Also notable are the right side dual exhaust system and the lowered license plate holder, as mentioned.
They are equipped with a tubular steel trellis frame with a double upper beam, which embraces the engine and an aluminum subframe behind. The wheelbase amounts to 1.514 millimeters and the seat height is 810 mm. The handlebar is extended, a typical Scrambler setting. The suspension part changes, starting from a Marzocchi front with a 45 mm diameter adjustable upside-down fork and Kayaba at the rear with adjustable spring preload and rebound on the 1100 PRO. Instead of the Öhlins type adjustable at the front and rear on the 1100 Sport PRO, taking up the indications.
The Brembo braking system with ABS Cornering solution consists of a double 320 mm diameter disc at the front and two M 4.32B monobloc four-piston calipers with radial connection, then at the rear a 245 mm disc associated with a caliper with a 34mm. There are various technological systems including three mentioned Riding Modes: Active, Journey and City.
The heart is one L-twin with Desmodromic distribution 1100 (1.079 cc). Developed a power of 86 horses (63 kW) at 7.500 rpm e 88 Nm of torque at 4.750 rpm.
