Ducati, Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO: the entry model to the 1100 PRO overview [PHOTO]

Available from October 2020

Ducati introduces the new Scrambler® 1100 Dark PRO, a specimen proposed in livery Dark Stealth.

Features at a glance

The distinctive design is reminiscent of the Scrambler® 1100 PRO and Sport PRO models. Scrambler® 1100 Dark PRO is distinguishable by observing the matt black color, the natural anodized aluminum components and the classic style rear-view mirrors. The black color, as indicated, covers the steel tube frame, aluminum rear subframe and aluminum covers. In the rear area, the right side double exhaust and the low license plate holder stand out. The tank can hold 15 liters of fuel, the seat height is 810 millimetres.

From a technological point of view, we highlight a Ride by Wire electronic management system and inertial platform. Like the other models in the 1100 PRO family, with safety in mind, the bike features a four-level adjustable and specially calibrated Ducati Traction Control (DTC), as well as a Cornering ABS system linked to the Brembo braking system consisting of a double front disc 320 mm with two radially mounted Brembo M 4.32B monobloc four-piston calipers, then a 245 mm disc behind combined with a 34 mm single-piston caliper. Three Riding Modes were also mentioned: Active, Journey and City (lower power), considering preferences and riding styles.
The Euro 5 approved drive unit is an L-twin type 1.079 cc, combined with a six-speed gearbox. The maximum power delivered is 86 horses at 7.500 rpm and the maximum torque of 88,4 Nm at 4.750 rpm.

Availability

The new Scrambler® 1100 Dark PRO is proposed from October 2020 starting from 12.490 euros, as reported, at Ducati and Scrambler Camp dealers.
