The triumphal season of Ducati in 2022, in particular the conquest of the Drivers' Title, Team Title and Constructors' Title in the premier class of MotoGP, was remembered with a special stamp officially issued by Ministry of Business and Made in Italy during the day, the 9 June 2023.

The stamp

The presentation took place during a press conference in the Ducati Lenovo Team's Hospitality, already oriented towards the Italian Grand Prix scheduled for the weekend on the Mugello circuit.
The ordinary stamp dedicated to the Ducati success is part of the "Sport" thematic series with a tariff value A zone 3 Oceania equal to 5,50 euros and the circulation is 500.024 copies.

A three-fold philatelic folder in A4 format was also created, which contains a block of four, a single stamp, a canceled and franked postcard, the illustrative bulletin, a philatelic card and a first-day cover of issue. This can be purchased at the price of 63 euros at the approximately 500 post offices with Philatelic counters, in the 10 Philately spaces and on the Poste Italiane portal.

At the end of the year this stamp will become part of the State's collector's stamp book for 2023, where the stamps issued by the Italian State commemorating various excellences are brought together.
In the image shown on the stamp the drawing of the stamp stands out Desmosedici GP22 driven by the champion Francesco Bagnaia, with the shades of the Italian tricolor, created by the Ducati Style Center.

The cancellation ceremony was attended by Luigi Dall'Igna, General Director of Ducati Corse; Fausta Bergamotto, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy; Giovanni Machetti, Head of Philately at Poste Italiane, and Matteo Taglienti, Head of Mint and Philately at the State Printing Office and Mint.
