In the evocative dance between heaven and earth, starring the Frecce Tricolori group and a rider riding the new one Ducati Panigale V4S, the art of creating something special and Italian vitality emerge on the day we celebrate the Republic.

The V4 sports car from Borgo Panigale

The video proposed via Facebook allows you to observe the dynamism of the specimen. The characterizing factors of this new one are numerous and interesting Panigale V4 S developed by Ducati Corse specialists, listing in particular a “Front-Frame” frame which is combined with a high-performance chassis and an adjustment interface OBTi (Objective Based Tuning Interface), a refined electronic equipment with different systems including Ride-by-Wire and a high-performance braking system.
The connotative is also highlighted Aero Pack, starting from the wing appendages in the anterior area, shaped by Ducati Corse e Ducati Style Center starting from an initial experimental phase in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD technique), up to the development in the wind tunnel and its approval.
The elements of the package are various, also recalling a new plexiglas with increased fairing, optimized and wider fairings based on the offshoots, extractors with a reported increase in cooling flows for water radiators (+6%) and oil (+16%) and indeed the reported monoplanar aerodynamic appendages. Characterized by a trapezoidal matrix and tapered towards the external part, therefore by a longitudinal bulkhead indicated as "strike" and another element at the end called "winglet", refining the incisiveness of the appendage itself with an isolation of the air flows superficial, still taking up the information. These are wing elements made using thermoplastic material strengthened with glass fibre, as reported.
Bearing in mind the appendages and the hull, an increase in vertical load equal to 30 kg at 270 km/h is indicated, mitigating the "floating" effect of the front wheel, as well as accentuating stability during braking.
The Panigale V4 S can be distinguished by a dry weight of 174 kg, slightly lower when compared to the 175 kg of the Panigale V4. Also highlighted are the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension and steering damper, an Öhlins NIX-30 fork and Öhlins TTX 36 rear shock absorber, specific knobs, lithium ion battery, Marchesini forged aluminum rims. The seat height amounts to 835 mm.
The engine V4 with banks at 90° from 1.103 cc develops 214 horses of power at 13.000 rpm and a torque of 124 Nm at 10.000 rpm. The performances are remarkable considering, for example, the time recorded by the driver Scott Redding on a specimen deprived of only the mirrors, with Akrapovič racing exhaust, therefore given the lower rear spring of 80 N/mm compared to 85 N/mm and slick tires , as mentioned. The best lap on the Ricardo Tormo track was completed in 1'34.5″. A remarkable result, also documented in a video linked to a previous one article.
