Ducati Panigale V4: the advanced model and the Cornering ABS [VIDEO]

In this third Tutorial, Alessandro Valia, Ducati Official Tester and Carlo Ricci Maccarini, Ducati Superbike Development Team Leader, also participate. The focus is on the system ABS, a solution linked to the sporting nature of the model.
The electronic overview is varied with a latest generation package that also includes a latest generation, more predictive Ducati Traction Control, a DTC EVO 3, as well as the use of a six-axis inertial platform. The braking system is powerful with new self-bleeding brake and clutch master cylinders derived from the elements present on the exclusive Superleggera V4.
This new in-depth analysis deals with another aspect of the updated sports car, also recalling the Panigale V4 S. A refined motorbike, whose appearance is recognizable by the aerodynamic package made up of elements such as plexiglass, fairing, fairings and side extractors and the functional and connotative aerodynamic appendages. Considering these and the hull setting, we highlight a vertical load increased by 30 kg at 270 km/h.
The frame is a "Front Frame" with a magnesium front subframe and an aluminum seat post, so the Panigale V4 is combined with a 43 mm Showa Big Piston Fork with a Sachs steering damper and an adjustable Sachs shock absorber in the rear area. Moving on to the Panigale V4 S, we highlight Öhlins solutions such as an Öhlins NIX-30 fork, Öhlins steering damper with event-based system and Öhlins TTX36 rear shock absorber, as well as management linked to the second generation of the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 system with new OBTi interface (Objective Based Tuning Interface).
The evolved model results Euro 5, taking into account the interventions on the exhaust line and the calibration of the drive unit with the same power and torque levels.
