Ducati: production of the new generation of Scrambler begins

In the factory Ducati production of the new proposal has started in Borgo Panigale Scrambler®, characterized by distinctive aesthetic features and innovations always linked to the lively spirit that has always distinguished this production.

The news

There are three new Scrambler® models: Icon, Full Throttle e night shift. Examples that present connotative aspects, however linked by a setting that favors a relaxed position and a limited weight. This has been reduced by 4kg and there is also a new Ride-by-Wire and an accessory Quick Shift system. Along with a refined aesthetic, the technological side of the proposal also stands out considering the instrumentation on the TFT color screen, the Riding Modes and the Ducati Traction Control.

From a technical point of view, together with a trellis frame, there are wide handlebars and an air-cooled Desmodue twin-cylinder engine. The center of gravity is low, making for fun driving.
Also underlined is the possibility of customizing the new Icon model, observing the tank and other points of the bike. The colored portion is a replaceable cover, being able to also replace the fenders, the tags on the rims and the headlight covers. In this case the appearance of the Scrambler® Icon responds to the tastes of different enthusiasts. Together with the three basic colors '62 Yellow, Thrilling Black e Ducati Red, six more are added: Jade Green, Rio Celeste, Sparkling Blue, Storm Green, Tangerine Orange, Velvet Red, proposed as an accessory kit to make the model distinctive. Overall nine different liveries.

In the new building of Finishing and Aesthetic Decision the production of the first example was celebrated during an event. After the introduction in the presence of CEO Claudio Domenicali, the ceremony became a party and the employees were able to preview all the colors of the proposal.
