Ducati – It was inaugurated at the P3 Park in Sala Bolognese, a few kilometers from Bologna, new BTS warehouse (Build-to-Suit). A new and functional structure spread over an area of ​​over 30.000 square metres, created by P3, a company specialized in the acquisition, development and management of logistics properties, and destined to become the storage and distribution hub for accessories and parts original spare parts for Ducati e Lamborghini.

An important project that testifies to the bond and attention that these two iconic international automotive brands reserve for the territory by dedicating resources and investments. To confirm this constructive relationship, the Municipality of Sala Bolognese wanted to dedicate the title of the street where the warehouse is located, which takes the name of Via Ducati-Lamborghini. This logistics hub involves approx 120 new resources, occupies an area of ​​almost 11 hectares, which includes 5.000 m700 for possible future expansions, of which 3 mXNUMX will be dedicated to offices. A cutting-edge warehouse that uses eco-sustainable technologies such as LED lighting, thermal insulation and solar panels on the roof capable of heating water in the offices and powering the heating and cooling systems. But also particular structures, such as the construction of a cycle path intended to connect the Sala Bolognese railway station directly to the PXNUMX Park. “This important and complex project in the area is part of a broader strategic plan, intended to improve efficiency and services for our passionate Ducatistas. Once fully operational, it will guarantee excellence, quality and increasingly shorter delivery times, in response to every single need anywhere in the world – declared Francesco Milicia, Director of the Ducati Supply Chain -. After an intense program of construction works, which lasted only six months, the structure was inaugurated in Sala Bolognese in the presence of representatives of local institutions, authorities and representatives of the press. “Ducati and Lamborghini had established a very tight timetable for the delivery of the new warehouse – declared Jean-Luc Saporito, Managing Director of P3 in Italy, at the ribbon cutting ceremony –.
