Ducati – A quarter of a century is certainly an anniversary worth celebrating and Ducati wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Monster, calling together the enthusiasts and admirers of this iconic motorcycle to create the largest parade Ducati Monster ever.

Organized in France by the branch Ducati West Europe, on the occasion of the motorcycle festival Sunday Ride Classic, the parade saw the participation of an incredible number of Monsters of every type, year and model, coming from all over Europe. From the first Monster 900 in 1993 to the last Monster 821 in 2018, 517 Monsters invaded the “Paul Ricard” circuit in Le Castellet, creating an enormous and colorful snake of motorbikes that set a new record. Certified by Raphaël Botte, bailiff of Bandol (Var), the 517 Monster specimens paraded around the track led by former official Ducati WSBK rider Régis Laconi, who opened the parade carrying the Ducati flag with him. A unique participation in the history of the Monster, which made it possible to beat the previous record, set in 2008 by the enthusiasts of the Monster Owners Belgium Club, with 405 motorbikes. In addition to very rare and particular models, including one of the very few "Senna" Monsters, and a perfectly preserved Cromo Monster, many customized and personalized Monsters, one more beautiful than the other, confirming how this Ducati model can transform into something unique, original and even more special. An event made possible also thanks to the passion and availability of the members of Desmo Grand Sud, the local club of Ducati enthusiasts, who took care of the logistics and reception, organizing registration, parking and management of the motorcycles that attended, which were divided into seven categories depending on the model. A jury led by Pascal Litt, editor of Desmo Magazine, then awarded the most representative Monster for each category with a trophy.

Before taking part in the circuit parade, participants had the opportunity to immortalise the moment in the mobile photography studio, set up with the presence of an official Ducati photographer. The photos taken will be the protagonists of the communication campaign dedicated to this anniversary, characterized by the dedicated hashtag #welovemonster.
