CABERG increases its commitment to racingCABERG increases its commitment to racing

caberg – Only bad luck stopped Christian Gamarino in the first two races of the Supersport world championship which were held in Australia and Thailand. A technical problem and an innocent fall denied the Caberg rider the results he would have deserved. However, we are certain that Gamarino will have the opportunity to make up for it already in the next round in Aragon (Spain) at the end of March.

This year Caberg has increased its commitment in the racing sector and therefore the one who will bring the Drift helmet to the track will not only be the young rider of the Bardahl Evan Bros Honda Racing Team, but also: Massimo Roccoli, Federico Sanchioni, Simone Saltarelli, Matteo Bertè and the confirmed Alessio Velini. The five-time Italian champion Massimo Roccoli has chosen Caberg helmets for the 2017 racing season which will see him competing in the Italian Superbike championship with the MV F4 of the Laguna Moto Racing Team. Like all Caberg riders, Roccoli will not only be a testimonial, but will contribute to the development of the Drift helmet, the crown jewel of the collection of the Italian company which has been producing and marketing protective helmets for motorcyclists for over 40 years. Roccoli doesn't need much introduction, having raced for years in the most prestigious world championships: Superbike, Superstock 1000 and Supersport and it is in the latter category that he has achieved his greatest successes, both nationally and internationally.

After winning the title of Italian Supersport Champion in 2016 (the fifth after those of 2006,2007,2008, 2015, 4 and XNUMX), Massimo will remain with the Laguna Moto Racing Team and with MV next year, but will compete in Superbike, bringing the FXNUMX to the track of the house of Schiranna. A new exciting challenge, for Roccoli and for Caberg who supplies him with the Drift helmet. One of Roccoli's opponents in the CIV Superbike will be Simone Saltarelli. In 2016 Simone raced in the CIV SBK with an Aprilia RSV4, while this season he will take the CM Racing Team Kawasaki Ninja to the track and will use the Caberg Drift helmet.

Double commitment instead for Federico Sanchioni who, in addition to racing in the National Trophy 1000, will also participate in the European Stock 1000 which will start at Motorland Aragon on the last weekend of this month. Federico will be part of Team Clasitaly which uses BMW S1000RR motorbikes.
