BMW S 1000 R 2021: we're talking about a new high-performance naked

It was expected previously, after it was introduced S 1000 RR. The debut of a new one BMW S 1000 R., speaking of the interesting segment of sports roadsters, would be expected in the autumn.

Indiscretions and rumors

The main changes would affect aesthetics, technology and the propulsive heart itself. At a cycling level there could be some refinements, just as the exhaust system could be evolved, keeping in mind the Euro 5 standards. Aesthetically, an evolved look is assumed according to the most recent stylistic features of BMW Motorrad production, considering for example the recent F 900 R, assuming LED light clusters with a different setting from the past and distinctive asymmetric setting, therefore muscular and sporty features partly recalling the fairing S 1000 RR.
The instrumentation would be included in a TFT screen, as on the most advanced production of the Bavarian brand, without forgetting other technological solutions and functional and high-performance technical components.
The engine, considering the S 1000 models and the presence of a technology ShiftCam, could offer a lower power compared to the 207 horsepower expressed by the engine of the volcanic S 1000 RR, but higher considering the 165 horsepower unit of the renewed S 1000 XR. At the moment, however, the use of the conditional is necessary.
