Benelli TRK 800: a new model to explore

The new Benelli TRK800 it is characterized by a distinctive appearance and functional solutions for travellers. The example was presented last November at the 78th edition of EICMA, the International Two-Wheel Exhibition.

The new model of the TRK range represents a new phase for the historic Pesaro brand, designed by the Benelli Style Center and developed by the brand's R&D department.
Aesthetically you can see the sinuous features associated with other sculptures, references to the TRK range but also an evolution from a stylistic point of view. In particular, the front area stands out with an extended front mudguard together with the characteristic double arch and full bright motif. LED with DRL. There is also a large adjustable screen, as well as hand guards and functional deflectors.
The motorcycle is equipped with on-screen instrumentation TFT in color from 7 inches and also features a central stand.
Among the aspects highlighted also a large fuel tank 21 liters, a connected saddle designed to accommodate the rider and passenger, as well as characteristic crown handles.

The motorcycle frame is characterized by a trellis structure made of tubes with a high-strength steel plate and the ergonomics facilitate an optimal riding position, also taking into account the passenger, side cases and top case.
The chassis includes a Marzocchi upside-down front fork with 50 millimeters, adjustable in rebound, compression and spring preload, with rebound of 170 mm. At the back there is an oscillating aluminum swingarm with central monoshock adjustable in spring preload and hydraulic brake in extension.
The Brembo braking system consists of a double semi-floating front disc 320 mm in diameter and four-piston caliper, as well as a rear disc 260 mm flanked by a single-piston caliper.
The model is equipped with aluminum alloy wheels 19 inches and 17 inches, front and rear respectively.

Thruster

The bike is powered by a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, twin-cylinder unit 754 cc. The power comes to 76,2 horses (56 kW) at 8.500 rpm, the torque reaches 67 Nm (6,8 kgm) at 6.500 rpm.
We point out a double overhead camshaft distribution with four valves per cylinder and a double throttle body whose diameter reaches 43 millimetres. Also highlighted is a clutch with torque servoing and anti-slipping function in an oil bath, and a six-speed gearbox is also highlighted.
