Motorcycle and scooter market, ANCMA: closing down 3,6% in September 2022

They were sold during the month 22.425 specimens, experiencing a decline of 3,6% compared to September 2021. The performance of mopeds remains good with the introduction of 1.748 vehicles and a growth of 7,3%, while the different progress between scooters and motorbikes continues, a decline in the '11,3% with 11.292 vehicles sold in the first case and a growth of 5,3% with 9.385 units in the second.
Moving toelectric, the lack of incentives weighs heavily and there is a drop of 8,4% with 920 units sold. Growth remains robust considering the year, in light of an increase of 59,6% which corresponds to 12.873 models; specifically for mopeds +59,7%, for scooters +63,8% and for motorbikes +18,2%.
The decline in cumulative annual, there was a decrease of 2,5% and 244.306 vehicles entered. The performance of mopeds was good given a growth of 16,5% with 17.370 registered examples, as was the increase for motorbikes of 4,6% with 108.620 registrations. The trend for scooters was also negative for the year, a decline of 10,3% and 118.316 units.
