Il International Circuit of Abruzzo hosted the second stage of Italian Aprilia Racing FMI Sport Production Championship during the weekend. Two matches played on Sunday afternoon and two distinct categories already listed: Next Generation (from 11 to 14 years) e Challenge (from 15 years).

The stop in Ortona

In Next Generation the thirteen-year-old Lorenzo Frasca achieved success in the two races and also the top of the general classification with 79 points. The driver currently precedes Leonardo Abruzzo who, thanks to the double second place in Ortona, is on 71 points and Christian Pucci third in the standings with 68 points, after the double achieved in Magione. Also highlighted on the occasion were Mattia Bosello, who came third in the first match and the Slovenian Enej Krsevan, third in the second race.
Moving on to the category Challenge, new brace from Daniel Da Lio. The young talent, after the races in Magione, also imposed himself in Ortona, beating Yari Favero twice. Nicola Plazzi and Nicholas Pighin completed the podium in the two races. The presence of Andrea Iannone and Matteo Baiocco was noted.

The RS 250 SP is also the protagonist
