Husqvarna Motorcycles presents the new ones TR 650 Road e TR 650 Earth, enriching its range of single-cylinder motorcycles with two fascinating new models that stand out for their high agility and driving dynamics.

Thanks to the slim and athletic structure and the essential and dynamic design, the new Husqvarna TR 650 presents itself as a modern, light and dynamic motorbike, both in the "Terra" version for not too demanding off-road riding, and in the "Road" version ” for motorbike fun on asphalt surfaces. Furthermore, thanks to the technological package that perfectly brings together easy handling, dynamism and high quality, the two new Husqvarna models clearly differentiate themselves from competing models. The relatively low weight, the powerful single-cylinder engine and the easy-to-handle and stable chassis make the two new models a symbol of the passion for motorcycling and the fascinating and adventure-filled world of Husqvarna Motorcycles.

On a technical level, the TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra are based on the proven technology of the G 650 GS from BMW Motorrad. For use in the two Husqvarna models, the water-cooled single-cylinder engine with two overhead camshafts and a displacement of 652 cm³ was subjected to extensive modifications, so as to significantly increase its performance. Now, the engine delivers 43 kW (58 hp) at 7 rpm and develops a maximum torque of 250 Nm at 60 rpm. For new drivers up to 5 years of age, a reduced power variant of 750 kW (25 HP) at 35 rpm which delivers a torque of 48 Nm at 7 rpm is offered as an ex works option.

The single-cylinder engine has undergone a series of modifications to ensure sporty and dynamic use. In addition to the optimization interventions, the electronic fuel injection system and the camshafts have been revised and the geometric compression ratio has been enhanced, so as to guarantee particularly strong thrust and high response speed. The engine complemented by a stainless steel exhaust system and a three-way catalytic converter not only offers a particularly high level of driving fun with a single-cylinder power unit, but also high fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness.

In combination with the five-speed gearbox with front engagement, the powerful and versatile single-cylinder engine of the Husqvarna TR 650 Strada fascinates especially on extra-urban routes full of bends; the great torque curve and quick response of the TR 650 Terra allow you to tackle even off-road trips on not too demanding terrain with safety and fun.

Robust, high-quality chassis to ensure riding fun both on the road and on asphalt.

The new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra models both boast agile chassis, built on the basis of a steel beam frame with rear subframe and lower brace screwed to the engine.

The front wheel suspension is made as an upside down telescopic fork with a diameter of 46 millimetres. The rear wheel is guided by a double-arm swingarm with high torsional resistance made of pentagonal steel profiles and a central monoshock connected through a linkage system. For driving on asphalt roads, the Husqvarna TR 650 Strada is equipped with aluminum alloy wheels, while the TR 650 Terra tackles its off-road commitments with spoked rims, rim rings and light alloy hubs. Thanks to generous 190 millimeters of travel at the front and rear, fantastic handling characteristics and high stability are combined with excellent comfort and an exciting off-road ride.

Driving safety is constantly guaranteed by the braking system, consisting of a single disc brake on both the front and rear. The new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada is equipped with ABS as standard, while for the new Husqvarna TR 650 Terra ABS is available as an option ex works. For driving in particular conditions, ABS can be deactivated.

Dynamic and essential Italian design.

To take into account the high level of driving dynamics of the new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and the new Husqvarna TR 650 Terra, it was designed in a style that combines essentiality with a clean formal language that makes it agile and light. While the alloy wheels of the TR 650 Strada symbolize the active character of the road bike, on the TR 650 Terra the spoked wheels in combination with a high-mounted front wheel mudguard enhance its Dual Sport ambitions.

The combination of a red side fairing in the TR 650 Terra and a black side fairing in the TR 650 Strada with the white front wheel mudguard and chassis elements painted in black, such as the frame and swingarm, give the two new Husqvarna models a rugged and masculine look.

The high driving dynamics is also underlined by the light gray painted engine surfaces which appear to have been sandblasted, creating a fascinating technical contrast together with the typical Husqvarna red valve cover. Further refined stylistic elements are the stainless steel exhaust system with two terminals equipped with end caps similar in shape to the crown of the Husqvarna logo and the silver-coloured anodized upside-down fork.

The new Husqvarna TR 650 Strada and TR 650 Terra will be built at the Husqvarna Motorcycles factory in Cassinetta di Biandronno.
