Husqvarna Enduro Trophy 2023: 130 riders at the third event of the season

The third match of the season Husqvarna Enduro Trophy in San Marino it was enlivened by some tests inside the Baldasserona Motocross facility. There were 130 participants present in the test scheduled in San Marino, organized by the team of president Simone Saraceni, assisted by other local Motoclubs.

The new challenge

Due to the rain that fell in the week leading up to the race, track inspector Arnaldo Nicoli requested some changes to the route. But optimal climatic conditions and dry terrain again allowed the team to face the long tour and the Baldasserona route, almost entirely covered apart from a couple of jumps cut to allow everyone to face the challenge. The paddock was enriched by the various corners of the Trophy partners.

The overall success was won by Mattia Traversi in Top Class, riding a FE 350. Nicolò Bonetti won the 125, while Alessandro Iozzelli won the 250 2T and Stefano Nigelli in the 300 class. Among the participants with 4T vehicles, Luca Grosso won the competition in the 250 category and Nicholas Agnes the 450. Elio Cambria instead won the Iron, Osvaldo Armanni the Super Iron, Mauro Guglielmetti won the Veteran 2T and Massimo Chelini in the Veteran 4T. Giorgia Dittamo then conquered the top step in the Women's.

Riders on Metzeler tires achieved the majority of successes: 9 out of 11.
On Saturday there was a Cross Country style prologue, with battery starts at the gate, obtaining the times of the three laps to be added to those of the following day, as well as a Sunday Cross Test with a classic tape.

Two rounds are scheduled, the second lap partially cut for classes with a shortened route, according to the regulations, as well as two time checks. The first after an hour and 30 minutes with arrival in Villagrande di Montecopiolo, the next after an hour and 40 minutes with return to the paddock area. The two ribbon Cross Tests were carried out in the first sector, the first inside the cross-track, the second in a hilly area. The technical and demanding Enduro Test, with undergrowth and fords, was defined in the second sector.
After the summer break, the 2023 Husqvarna Enduro Trophy will revive on the weekend of September 10th on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, from Cairo Montenotte (SV) in Val Bormida.
