Various innovations related to Zero Motorcycles with the unveiling of some interesting technological innovations, in the development of the range of examples for the 2022.

The new batteries

Starting from the first quarter of 2022, the new fully upgraded battery can be combined with the Power tank, obtaining a capacity of just under 21 kWh. An autonomy of 365 km on the urban cycle and 182 km on the motorway is reported.

Zero SR

New battery technology and access to Cypher Store updates (another interesting new feature) are part of the improvements linked to the new SR. An evolved model from different perspectives, characterized by an external steel trellis frame.
This specimen is powered by the new Cypher III+ operating system and is offered with a ZF battery 14,4+ kWh, which can be upgraded through Cypher Store up to 17,3 kWh. When combined with the additional Power Tank accessory, offered from the beginning of next year, the total battery capacity can reach 20,9 kWh, the largest capacity at the moment for a Zero model. The new features also include the opportunity to charge from the public EV charging network via the Mennekes connector (Type II). It is also possible to purchase Wall Outlet adapters (Type II to socket) to recharge at home, in the office or in other places equipped with standard sockets.

The new SR is equipped with a ZF 75-10 engine designed to deliver a pair of 166 Nm and a power of 55 kW, achieving a top speed of 167 km/h. Furthermore, by enabling the Speed ​​& Performance Boost via the Cypher Store, the total capabilities of the engine can be recalled, therefore an update with the Advanced Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control is reported, adding the "cornering" functionality to the standard ABS , traction control and electronic engine braking control, as indicated.
La SR for 2022 it is proposed in the same color Graphite at a figure of 19.300 euros, introduced from today in Zero Motorcycles dealers, according to information. The Standard model of SR/S 2022 it is available with a 14.4+ kWh battery and the retail price is 22.080 euros, while the Premium SR/S model has a 15.6+ kWh battery and a figure of 24.340 euros is indicated. Both are available in color variants Aileron-Black e Cerulean Metallic-Silver.
Moving on to the Premium model of the SR/F 2022, this is available in the two combinations Asphalt-Metallic Silver e Red Coral with 15,6+ kWh battery. The figure reported to the public is 23.570 euros.

Another mentioned novelty among those highlighted on the occasion is this on-demand updates platform linked to further advancement of Zero Motorcycles' proprietary Cypher operating system. A sistem Cypher III + offered as standard on the new SR/F, SR/S and SR 2022 models, with the possibility for motorcyclists to customize the performance of the model.

In the initial proposal, for example, some typical functions are indicated: the extension of autonomy, the increase in speed and performance, heated grips, parking mode, the opportunity to have navigation on the dashboard and faster charging.
The upgrades will be optional for the new SR/S, SRF and SR models, while some may be installed on older models with dealer assistance, as indicated.
