Zero Motorcycles and Huge Design: the futuristic SR-X sports one-off shown [PHOTO]

It rests on the base of the SR/S

The first images of the specimen SR-X, a personalized reinterpretation of electric Zero SR/S, represent hints of a future vision of sport on two wheels. The model is the result of a collaboration with Bill Webb of the San Francisco studio Huge design, as part of the development program “Design the Future” di Zero Motorcycles.

The minimalist style appears at the same time strongly sporty, strengthened by a profile tending towards the front area occupied by compact fairings, contrasted with a slim rear part and exposed mechanics. The design of the headlights is also distinctive.
Animated by the electric motor ZF75-10 di Zero and the innovative lithium battery ZF17.3, the specimen SR-X it is an interpretation of future sportsmanship, as mentioned. A further testimony to the passion for design and technological innovation of the Zero Motorcycles brand.

Over the years, the creative hub “Design the Future” has been able to define innovative electric examples. A program that brings together talented designers and engineers from the motorcycle scene.
Bill Web plays a key role in realizing Zero Motorcycles' future vision. He was responsible for the design of the FXE and of the model that anticipated it from a conceptual point of view: the Zero SM. The SR-X model now represents an interpretation of the sportiness of tomorrow, as well as a further result of Zero's commitment to research and innovation.
