In addition to being ready for customization, it is possible to combine the model with various spare parts and accessories useful for off-road activities. Among optional accessories the following are listed: top case, saddle bags and side cases, windshield, engine protection plate, windshield and other elements. It is also possible to replace part of the integrated storage compartments with the Power Tank, a solution that allows you to increase the battery capacity up to almost 21 kWh or with the Rapid Charger, a rapid charger to limit the charging time to around one hour, as suggested.
Among the features proposed exclusively only for Zero Motorcycles, given the 16 years and 200 million kilometers of experience of the Cypher III+ operating system, we highlight a Park mode which allows low-speed reverse gear to support maneuvers in tight spaces. The specimen is also equipped with Level 1 and 2 chargers with an integrated 6,6 kW fast charging system. In light of a battery capacity of 17.3 kWh, a charging time of approximately 2,5 hours is required at the charging stations. The DSR/X model is compatible with the Zero Motorcycles mobile application, facilitating the management of various functions and customizations ranging from the battery regeneration function to the management of torque and speed. It features a cellular connectivity module (Cellular Connectivity Module – CCM) which can send notifications to app users regarding, for example, the position of the motorbike or information on the status of the vehicle and charging.

Technical aspects and engine

The perimeter trellis frame is new and the architecture of the DSR/X components has been completely redefined to obtain greater ground clearance.
