Zero Motorcycles at EICMA 2021: together with the 2022 models also special guest models

The range of specimens Zero Motorcycles is expected at 78 edition di EICMA,International two-wheel exhibition open to the public from 25 to 28 November 2021. Along with the new features for 2022, we note the presence of special models.

Participation in the exhibition

The new Zero models can be admired in the Hall 13, the stand M58. In addition to the advanced electric proposal, four representative creations stand out. Let's start from the first Zero SR/S custom, a project entrusted to builder Michael “Woolie” Woolaway of Deus ex Machina's Venice Beach headquarters. The union of classic shapes and innovative technology that defines a unique piece not for sale. After a European tour, the Deus Bike returns to Milan as a guest on the occasion of the international exhibition present in the pavilions of Fiera Milano – Rho.

The other special bike highlighted is the DSR Black Forest Edition, an electric touring motorcycle. This globtrotter was the protagonist of the AfricaX project in 2019, an itinerary of 15 thousand kilometers covered in six months. Thomas Jakel and Dulcie Mativo traveled across the African continent to meet many changemakers and innovators, creating an inspirational documentary for future entrepreneurs in those areas. Thomas Jakel was also present at the event to talk about his project and underline that it is possible to go far on an electric motorbike.

Also at EICMA the European version of the SR / F employed by Zero Motorcycles to note Pikes Peak International Hill Climb of the 2019. An electric streetfighter transformed into a racing model. In Europe it was driven by the experienced Dale Robinson, Country Manager of Zero Motorcycles UK. We remember the result achieved by Dale in 2019 in the test sessions of the Gamma Racing Day, the first competition organized by the Open Electric Superbike in Assen, where the SR/F allowed him to obtain a seven-second advantage over the electric competition.

The other special model on display is the SR/S prepared for the police forces, equipped by Bertazzoni Veicoli Speciali, a company from Collecchio (PR). The Californian brand offers a range of electric motorcycles aimed at motorized units of the police and security forces with customizable options.

The brand's range ranges from naked to motard, from off-road models to touring models and the collection shown at the stand is the result of constant work in the electric mobility sector that has continued for 16 years.
Among the recent notable innovations, the model stands out SR 2022, a turning point for the manufacturer given the introduction of this and a new series of advanced and configurable models, equipped with expandable battery. Among the interesting new features is also the operating system Cypher III +, present as standard on the new models SR / F, SR/S e SR 2022, which allows performance customization. By consulting the Cypher Store platform via a portal or the Zero mobile app it will be possible to have some additional modes, including unprecedented battery management opportunities, as announced.
