Zapp Electric Vehicles (Zapp EV) is a British company involved in the electric motorcycle segment, in which a team of experts from the two-wheel sector and the automotive scene operates. In June there was the debut of i300, a scooter characterized by a distinctive and minimalist design that offers marked versatility as well as performance, similar to that of a sports motorcycle.
A power summit reported 14,4 kW which correspond to 18,8 horsepower and a very high torque, to be compared to a curb weight of 104 kg.

The i300 model is the first in a series of creations and also highlights an advanced direct-to-customer (DTC) experience called DSDTC (Drop-ship-direct-to-customer). Interested parties who order an i300 online can have it delivered to their home from “Zappers”, who provide home monitoring and support.
Returning to the appointment of Simon Noone, the commitment includes a selection of key partners in European retail and the implementation of customer experience; while Zapp EV grows globally after the launch of the i300 and in view of the introduction of other models.

Simon Noone is an expert in developing dealer networks in the automotive sector. In 2011 he joined Renault Ireland as Head of Network Development and Head of Business Development, becoming Business and Network Development Manager for Audi Ireland in 2013.
He joined McLaren Automotive in 2016 as Global Business and Network Development Manager and was responsible for growing the retail network from 62 to 86 stores across 14 market zones internationally between 2016 and 2018.

As Regional Sales Manager for MEAFLA markets, Simon increased McLaren sales by 61% between 2018 and 2020 and by 19% as Regional Sales Manager for Western Europe between 2020 and 2022, as remembered. He played a leading role in the launch of McLaren's Ultimate and Limited Series models, including the exclusive 765 and 600LT, Senna, Elva and Speedtail.
