Yamaha Yard Built XJR1300 Dissident by it roCkS!bikes – The Portuguese bike makers it roCkS!bikes, however, know the Yamaha XJR well and to celebrate its 20th anniversary they dedicated themselves to the 2015 model and built the Yard Built XJR1300 Dissident.

Osvaldo Coutinho and Alexandre Santos, civil engineers by day and, since 2013, it roCkS!bikes by night, work in their small workshop near Porto, Portugal. Their engineering skill clearly emerges in their works thanks to the attention to detail dedicated to the creation of the "monocoque", the single block with tank, the saddle and the tail, now their signature. There Yamaha Yard Built XJR 1300 Dissident is no exception, with the fluid lines of the single piece of hand-shaped metal that starts just behind the steering plate and connects with the tail.

The structure of the Yamaha Yard Built XJR1300 Dissident it is a cocktail of simplicity, cleanliness and elegance, with an obsessive attention to detail, like the rear LED lights hidden in the tail. Great attention was also paid to the driving experience, as described by the ISR braking system which includes the front brake and clutch master cylinder, the front and rear calipers and the 340 mm discs at the front and 267 mm at the rear. The 6-piston calipers apply incredible braking force to the front and the connections are entrusted to Hell Performance steel mesh lines. The upside down fork taken from YZF-R1 has been modified to fit the steering head of XJR1300 and to face the road with determination. On the handlebars, with LSL café racer clip-on, several Motogadget accessories stand out: the aluminum grips, the M-Blaze indicators and the hi-tech Motoscope pro instrumentation, mounted on an aluminum support machined from solid and made "in house".
