Yamaha XMAX 300 and XMAX 300 Tech MAX 2023: renewed design and technological contents

A sporty and practical scooter with a lively temperament. The colors are combined with this model icon blue e Sonic Gray and features new 4,3-inch LCD instruments with smartphone connectivity, different from those fitted to the XMAX 300 Tech MAX. It is possible to connect via a new Communication Control Unit (CCU) and via the instrument panel to also check the status of the phone's battery and the connection, among other information. Among the peculiarities of the new XMAX 300 we also mention the textured plastic footrests.
By downloading Yamaha's MyRide app, connecting via Bluetooth, you can access various technical and riding information, further enriching the experience.

In addition to the aesthetic renewal, other details and technical aspects are highlighted such as the high-quality finishes of the model which, together with the lines of the new body, bring attention to the front area. The model also features scratch-resistant body panels next to the passenger footpegs, the new boomerang includes side vents and also features a leatherette seat cover with gold-tone stitching. The same material is also used on the glove compartment covers and the interior of the vehicle features aluminum footrests.
There is an adjustable windscreen but the guides that allow it to be raised and lowered have been redefined, then the mirror supports have been made of aluminum to contain the weight and accentuate the perceived quality.
The new Yamaha XMAX 300 Tech MAX It is available in coloring Dark petrol and in a new tone TechBlack. Some parts of the body have been treated with a special semi-metallic glossy finish.
Moving on to the technological equipment, the new XMAX 300 Tech MAX features a new 4,2-inch TFT screen placed below a 3,2-inch LCD speedometer that shows the main information, separate from the infotainment screen. Smartphone connectivity and Garmin navigation are connected to the new 4,2-inch multi-thematic color TFT display.
The integrated Communication Control Unit (CCU) facilitates Bluetooth connectivity between the vehicle and the smartphone and, once the Yamaha MyRide app is downloaded and the device is paired, various functions can be used. By switching to the Garmin navigation system, using a Garmin StreetCross app on your smartphone and connecting to your vehicle, you can use Garmin navigation on the TFT infotainment screen by searching through your smartphone. Also listed among the features are: a Smart Key ignition system, an adjustable handlebar, a 12V socket and disc brakes tied to the wheels and a traction control system. The maxi scooter is equipped with a front wheel 15 inches and a rear from 14 inches.


The two 300 models

Aesthetically you can see a newly conceived body on which a redefined luminous motif stands out which projects a X design, observing the arrangement of the daytime running lights and headlights in front. The features are sculpted and sporty, equipped with boomerang frame covers.
There are also new directional indicators placed higher up and the rear light cluster is also new, incorporating the brake lights and projecting another X motif. The seat has also been renewed, slimmer and more compact, to facilitate a seating position. comfortable ride and support on the ground and there is also a generous load space under the saddle, which can also accommodate two full-face helmets depending on the size. Also reported is a varied line of original Yamaha accessories for the XMAX overview which allows customization of the scooter according to needs. Also available is a range of CE approved clothing for scooter riding and casual clothing. The drive unit is Blue Core Euro 5.
The new Yamaha XMAX 300 will be available at Yamaha dealers from March 2023instead XMAX 300 TechMAX from the next May, as previously reported.
