Yamaha Tracer 700: the new model with a distinctive design and designed for travel

The specialised farming model

The new Sports Touring it is immediately recognizable by its configuration “twin eyes” of the light clusters a LED , from the compact and aerodynamic fairing, the characterizing shape of the tank, the profiled front mudguard and the overall layout of the vehicle equipped with a hugging fairing. The vision is compact and streamlined, anticipating a certain dynamism.
It features a lightweight tubular steel frame, a 41mm cartridge fork featuring optimized spring rate with preload and rebound management, as well as an aluminum swingarm with preload and rebound adjustments that also affect the rear shock. The indicated curb weight is rather low, amounting to 196 kg. While the wheelbase extends for 1.460 millimetres.
A multifunction screen appears LCD negative contrast, with manageable height, dedicated to digital instrumentation. Among the highlighted aspects is also the shape of the redefined monobloc saddle, in light of a front section attached to the tank and equipped with a shaped profile, as well as visible stitching and hand guards. The handlebar, again following the indications, is 34 mm wider and the aforementioned saddle is also slightly raised, precisely the height amounts to 840 millimetres.
The updated 689 cc crossplane twin-cylinder with 270° timing and irregular combustion sequence, with Euro 5 standard, offers 54 kW (73,4 horsepower) of maximum power at 8.750 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. A heart connected to a six-speed transmission, while the tank can hold 17 liters of fuel.
