Yamaha Ténéré 700 Raid Prototype: the desert experience told by Pol Tarrés [VIDEO]

The model was developed by Yamaha in Europe taking into account the experience of riders Alessandro Botturi and Pol Tarrés, aiming to use the full potential of the Ténéré 700. The two "Yamaha ambassadors" evaluated its characteristics on the most demanding sections of the Moroccan desert, as reported again on the occasion.
Associated with the propulsion part are a new heavy-duty Rekluse clutch lever with two-part clutch cover, a new oil cooler and a new cover for the water pump, airbox and high-performance filter, a control unit GYTR ECU engine, a 48-tooth sprocket, an oversized radiator, dual cooling fans and a titanium Racing Akrapovič exhaust.

Among the key features of the prototype, a suspension part consisting of a fork was highlighted 48 millimeters with excursion from 270 mm with a CNC triple clamp triple clamp, then a new long travel shock from 260 mm. The braking system includes a new front brake lever, braided hoses and a new caliper fixing bracket and consists in the front area of ​​a single front disc 300 mm equipped with racing pads and also a new brake master cylinder, while in the rear area there is an oversized disc from 267 mm.
