Yamaha Super Ténéré 1200 Competition White

The motorcycle company Yamaha brings the new to the stage today Super Ténéré 1200 Competition White, solemnly premiered at Motor Bike Expo 2011 of Verona, the two-wheel event that will be held in the Verona capital from this morning, Friday 21 January, to next Sunday, 23 January. The adventure model of the three tuning forks is already known in the world of motorcycling: we have seen it on several occasions, including, in Italy, the Eicma 2010 in Milan.

The novelty of Super Ténéré 1200 most interesting of the Veronese show, in a nutshell, does not consist in some technical change, but in the new color, which the manufacturer will market starting from next April: the new shade Competition White for Yamaha Super Ténéré 1200 it joins the already available Midnight Black, Silver Tech and Viper Blue colors. The adventure of the Iwata motorcycle company becomes candid and becomes, with this new decoration, more sinuous and shapely than it already was. Under the – skimpy – fairing, no changes: the 1.199 cubic centimeter engine delivers 110 horsepower at 7.250 rpm and 114,1 Nm of maximum torque at 6.000 rpm.

The new Yamaha Super Ténéré 1200 is offered to the public in four different levels preparation, different from each other in terms of equipment and the needs of the customer who uses them: Super Ténéré 1200 standard, Super Ténéré 1200 Sport, Super Ténéré 1200 Touring or Super Ténéré 1200 Touring Plus. Furthermore, the Yamaha motorcyclist will be able to choose from the official network of dealers of the three tuning forks brand, also a new exhaust system Akrapovic, designed specifically for the off-road model.
