Yamaha Super 7 by JvB-moto: a reinterpretation of the Faster Sons in Teutonic style [PHOTO and VIDEO]

German customers have revealed its soul

Yamaha Super 7 by JvB-moto – After the concept presented at Wheels and Waves by Shinya Kimura for the launch of the Without carrying out any cutting or welding, the three-tuning twin-cylinder was literally "stripped" to be brought to its original essence.

"We can't wait to find out how the new XSR700 will enter the world of two wheels. " he has declared Shun Miyazawa of Yamaha Motor Europe. "Six years of collaborations with the best customizers have allowed us to get to where we are today. An aspect of fundamental importance in the design process of the XSR700 was to create a vehicle that did not belong to a single style, such as scrambler, Flat Tracker or Café Racer, but which was open to different and unprecedented customization possibilities. We have cultivated our construction philosophy for the models we call “Faster Sons”, referring to the idea that the driving performance of the past can be enriched by contemporary ones. Jens from JvB-moto was one of the biggest supporters of this new idea and for us it was natural to offer him the opportunity to present a new collaboration".

The new Yamaha Super 7 by JvB-moto has brought the model back to its original essence by showing its soul, i.e. the frame. The rear cradle has been removed in order to have a shorter tail. Soon JvB-moto will produce all the parts so that anyone can customize their XSR700 into a “Super 7”. Many of the components mounted on this Special, such as the headlight, LED indicators and support for the Daytona speedometer, were made directly by JvB-moto and will be available for future XSR700 riders. The side guards and the saddle, which give the bike its characteristic profile, were also produced by JvB-moto, as were the Arrows exhaust support, the two mudguards, the position lights and the license plate attachment. The “Super 7” is fitted with Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa tires to offer total road holding and, thanks to the Öhlins shock absorbers on the rear, you have total control of the vehicle. The fork has been modified, as have the LSL handlebar risers which now position it at tank height. Also included are the rear brake reservoir and custom polished adjuster. The footrests and their supports have been customized, as have the LED indicators created by JvB-moto which enhance the front of the bike. To give a finishing touch to the "sides" of the vehicle, the engine guards and other small components received a sandblasted finish.
