The spare parts Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR®) are the result of experience applied in maximizing the performance of Yamaha R Series models. The new Yamaha R1 GYTR for the 2023 it was created for competitions, as is already known R6 GYTR.

It is a racing motorbike designed for various levels of experience with optimized performance at every speed. Considering the FIM Stock 1000 regulations, the R1 GYTR promises better aerodynamic and braking performance, as well as a refined riding position. It does not have an ignition key and is equipped with a racing rear stand.
The various possibilities for adjusting the control unit facilitate driving at the limit, as indicated, taking into account refined equipment and parts with limited weight that support its dynamic qualities.
The Yamaha R1 is a high-performance example, known in the most important series for production derivatives at an international level. A model equipped with a robust and efficient frame, KYB 43 front forks, a sophisticated electronic part including IMU and Ride-by-Wire accelerator and a powerful CP4 engine.
The GYTR elements are designed together with the motorbike to facilitate precise integration, also using top materials such as carbon fiber and aeronautical-grade aluminium. Each GYTR part is subject to an in-depth analysis of performance and durability, which makes these accessories specific.
GYTR technology has enabled Yamaha Racing teams to achieve several successes over time and now the contact between racing and development activities and the customer landscape has become more direct, through a connection strategy to bring Yamaha Racing technology to the clientele of enthusiasts who want to make the most of their R Series models.
In 2021 Yamaha has given shape to the concept of GYTR PRO SHOP, a place where professional and amateur riders can find answers to their requests, talking with experts and competition technicians as well as learning about the different high-specification components for motorcycle tuning.
There are currently 17 GYTR PRO SHOPS in Europe, but the aim is to reach 25 in the coming months. The points are connected to the Racing programs and propose solutions for the different models R1, R3, R6 e R7. Starting in December 2022, GYTR PRO SHOPS will be the only place to find the 1 R2023 GYTR, as indicated.

A GYTR PRO line

The exclusive GYTR components used in the top Superbike series to increase the performance of the R1, in limited quantities, are offered to Yamaha riders in the GYTR PRO SHOPS.
According to information, the GYTR PRO line includes a total of 400 parts available through GYTR PRO SHOPS starting in April 2023. Please note that the complete list of the GYTR PRO product line and associated prices will be announced later this year.
Enthusiasts therefore have the opportunity to complete an R1 with R1 WorldSBK parts, using the new Yamaha GYTR PRO range. An example of this line of special parts was given with the R1 GYTR PRO VR46 for Valentino Rossi in 2021, using a combination of parts from the future GYTR and GYTR PRO catalog and exclusive elements from Öhlins and Brembo, as mentioned.
