Yamaha presents the range of accessories for the new T-Max and X-Max 300

Yamaha – Personalize to stand out. For all scooter riders who love to make their vehicle even more unique and exclusive, Yamaha has always offered wide ranges of dedicated accessories. This applies in particular to the new Premium scooters TMAX and X-MAX 300 my 2017 for which Yamaha has already created a substantial catalog of Original Accessories.

YAMAHA TMAX my 2017

Since its debut 16 years ago, Yamaha TMAX has changed the face of the scooter world, consequently creating a completely new category of vehicles. Since then, TMAX has held the title of King of maxi-scooters, a qualification consolidated over the years thanks to its strong predominance in the reference market segment.

In fact, with over a quarter of a million units sold since its launch in 2001, the legendary Tre Diapason sports scooter is one of the most important and authoritative two-wheeled motor vehicles ever built by the Japanese brand. Equipped with a sporty and dynamic design, a new and lightweight aluminum chassis and advanced electronic control technologies, the 2017 model, created to redefine the rules of the MAX family, will be available, starting from April, in three different versions: TMAX, TMAX SX, sportier, and TMAX DX, dedicated to driver comfort.

To offer a wider possibility of choice in the vehicle customization phase, Yamaha has made a vast range of dedicated original accessories available to its customers: from functional elements, such as top cases and internal bags, to comfort products such as saddles, backrests and heated grips. There is also no shortage of accessories for sports driving such as Akrapovič exhaust systems, sports screens and license plate holders. A complete series of easy-to-assemble components is also included, including colored passenger footrests and brake levers and protectors, which allow you to make your TMAX even more exclusive and redefine its rules.

My TMAX Connect App

The Iwata company, which has always been attentive to the needs of its public, has developed "My TMAX Connect" with Vodafone, a smart and interactive application that allows future TMAX owners to enter a new era of connected services. Developed for smartphones and standard on Yamaha TMAX SX and TMAX DX, “My TMAX Connect” in fact allows you to have access to a new world of functions and information thanks to the integrated GPS system and the dedicated telematics infrastructure, while at the same time connecting TMAXers to the IoT (Internet of Things).

Using the app, all TMAX SX and TMAX DX owners will therefore be able to take advantage of a wide range of services such as tracking their vehicle, remote horn and flashing functions, speed alarm, Geofence function and trip reports on European scale. The system also allows you to monitor your TMAX SX or TMAX DX via the Vodafone Secure Operation Center network. Furthermore, Yamaha will offer first-time buyers of the TMAX SX and DX a free subscription to the app for the first year.

“My TMAX Connect” will be available in app stores for iOS and Android systems from the end of February, ready to be used when the TMAX models arrive on the market in April 2017.

YAMAHA X-MAX 300 my 2017

In anticipation of the arrival of the new X-MAX 2017 in May 300, Yamaha reveals the dedicated line of Original Accessories. The elegant lines of the design, high performance and excellent functionality have made this new model, belonging to Yamaha's Sport Scooter range, the ideal answer for those looking for a smart and fun vehicle to get around both on city and extra-urban roads.

Thanks to the wide choice of Original Accessories, ideal both for the city and for sportier riding, such as top cases, backrests, compartment dividers for the underseat, screens suitable for urban use, Akrapovič slip-on exhaust, footrests and a screen for a sportier look, future X-MAX 300 owners will be able to customize their vehicle in an exclusive way.

AVAILABILITY

The line of original accessories for the TMAX and X-MAX 300 models will be available starting from spring 2017. While waiting for their arrival on the market, in the meantime, the most curious scooter riders will be able to start seeing which components and equipment for the TMAX and X-MAX 300 best meet their needs via the Yamaha My Garage app, available for iOS and Android systems.
