Yamaha presents its innovations for the police forces at Milipol 2015 [PHOTO]

Yamaha – Milipol 17 is scheduled for 20 to 2015 November in Paris, the main world exhibition on the internal security of states and, at the same time, also the largest continental exhibition dedicated to the innovations of law enforcement agencies. Yamaha has been committed since 1987, worldwide, to the development of vehicles suitable for law enforcement. Of the current range, the FJR1300AP sport tourer, the naked 4-cylinder XJ6 and, the latest arrival, the MT-09 Tracer represent the most requested models for this type of use in Europe, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Central and South America .

Milipol 2015 will be an opportunity for Yamaha to present the new MT-09 Tracer Police, the latest model created for the Police Forces, a special version of the Japanese three-cylinder crossover, set up according to the activities carried out by the Police Forces, and therefore characterized by standard equipment and specific accessories. With its lightweight and compact aluminum frame, the Yamaha MT-09 Tracer Police could become the ideal vehicle for patrolling and timely interventions that the representatives of the Police Force will have to operate, often in conditions of high city traffic. The adjustable driving position has been designed to reduce fatigue during long working days that require covering large distances. Among the accessories there will be special rigid side bags, equipment made possible thanks to the use of a longer swingarm and the new tail design.

In Paris Yamaha will also present the new WR450F Bundeswehr and ATV Grizzly 450 enduros, both made for the German Army. In compliance with the strict NATO standards and rules, mandatory to obtain approval for use, Yamaha has made specific modifications to these models including an explosion-proof tank, an automatic rekluse clutch, a silent exhaust, an infrared light system, special tires and a sand-colored camouflage body.
