Yamaha – Launched in the 2014 season, the Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F models have changed the rules of the game, with an impact that will leave its mark on the world of local, national and international motocross competition. The innovative "Forward Thinking" philosophy contributes to making Yamaha one of the most dynamic and successful brands in the off-road world. The new 2017 motocross and enduro range was created for all those enthusiasts who, in their vehicle, are looking for high technology and above all high performance.

The Yamaha YZ250F, with its upside-down cylinder, demonstrates that it has all the qualities necessary to overcome the competition, even the most fierce ones. Numerous and important technical changes made to the my 2017 which aimed to increase performance and improve the riding of this true point of reference in the cross scene. The specifications of the new engine, including a significant increase in intake and exhaust efficiency, a smoother transmission and a remapping of the control units, lead to a significant improvement in the winning performance of the YZ250F. All riders will also have at their disposal the Yamaha Power Tuner, an optional device that allows you to modify the output of the Yamaha YZ250F. The compact device connects directly to the motorbike, without the need for a PC, and in just a few seconds it allows the rider or mechanic to fine-tune the engine's performance to adapt it to the circuit and riding conditions. Thanks to the valuable feedback provided by the official pilots, Yamaha engineers have refined the YZ250F chassis to allow riders to fully exploit its class-leading performance. Compared to 2016, the new frame design is approximately 12 mm wider in the area behind the swingarm pivot. This increase in torsional rigidity therefore ensures exceptional stability. To achieve a riding position that offers more space and therefore suits all riders, the YZ250F footpegs have been lowered by 5 mm, thus decreasing the center of gravity and offering greater control when cornering. The elegant black wheels have been confirmed which, together with the new graphics, give the YZ250F an official motorcycle look.

The Yamaha YZ450F is considered one of the best performing 450cc motocross bikes. An off-road model, equipped with the innovative upside-down cylinder head, which offers every rider the possibility of having a high-performance vehicle at hand. Among the new features of 2017, the new graphics are immediately noticeable. From a technological point of view, the 245mm rear brake disc has been made from the same heat-resistant steel as the front disc, for superior feel and performance. With their easy handling and instant power delivery, the YZ250 and YZ125 2-stroke underline Yamaha's total commitment to creating off-road motorcycles for all categories. Loved by fans of the 2-stroke engine for their ease of maintenance and their unique character, in 2017 these thoroughbreds adopt a larger 270 mm front disc and new graphics on the fairings, forks and mudguards. Together with its "big sisters", YZ85 confirms itself as one of the most loved motocross models. For the new year, the YZ85 will feature new and eye-catching graphics.

The Yamaha WR250F and WR450F share, together with the YZ-F models, the innovative design with the upside-down cylinder head and the compact aluminum frame, thus giving the Japanese brand an important role in the world of enduro. In 2016, Yamaha won the E2 and E1 World Championships, demonstrating its commitment to the world of off-road.
