Sophisticated solutions

It is the first example in the world with a latest generation electronically controlled suspension system. Although the Yamaha R1M has a similar system, the new Yamaha MT-10 SP features the latest Öhlins electronically controlled suspension characterized by innovative technology, with a wider range of damping adjustments and a higher degree of response, according to the information.
The rider can vary the suspension setting using the ERS menu and opting between the three semi-active damping modes A-1, A-2 e A-3, as well as many manual settings M-1, M-2 e M-3.
A-1 represents a sport mode designed to achieve precise response on winding roads, taking into account stability during acceleration and braking, as well as a high degree of sensitivity. A-2 is more aimed at sporty driving for quick transfers, therefore A-3 is designed for travel, considering stability and comfort.
By selecting one of the automatic modes, the system manages rebound and compression based on the type of gear, with constant changes to ensure the required parameters.
By opting for a manual program, you can make an electronic adjustment by evaluating the parameters that concern compression and rebound for the fork and shock absorber. Management takes place via the YRC menu with precise customization, according to the driving style or environment.
