Yamaha MT-09 dresses up as a scrambler and becomes a Street Tracker

Revolutionary and immediately highly appreciated, the general public welcomed the new three-cylinder naked-motard with satisfaction Yamaha MT-09.For the company of the three tuning forks it marked the beginning of the era of the MT Series, a family of two wheels combined with a unique style inspired by “dark side of Japan”, capable of immediately capturing the imagination of all riders looking for motorcycles capable of offering pure riding pleasure.

Starting from the adrenaline-filled and fun MT-09, joined immediately after launch by the MT-09 Street Rally developed to emphasize its motard soul, which was followed by the 07cc twin-cylinder MT-689 created to revive the passion in the entry level motorbike segment and, lastly, the MT-125 which adds the new dimension of a look to the 125cc class streetfighter.

Today a new chapter in the MT history presenting the new MT-09 Street Tracker, a variant of the MT-09, which has been given a scrambler look. Dirt track inspiration with a twist scrambler influence, to create a new type of MT-09, equipped with a series of high quality special components that offer a sporty and sophisticated look with a touch of vintage style.

The colors are opaque, the frame is completely black as is the 850 cc three-cylinder engine, while the cylinder head is bronze colored, the dark bronze rims and the gold upside down fork legs, for an authentic and classic image. The extensive use of components in aluminum and carbon, developed specifically for the MT-09 Street Tracker, give the newcomer a distinctive look that cannot go unnoticed.

On the front the short carbon mudguard with aluminum supports and the new one stand out number holder table in aluminum which accentuates the track bike image and at the same time offers additional protection from the wind. The side number plates emphasize the racing style and the aluminum handlebar counterweights underline the appearance of a dirt track-inspired motorcycle.

The new two-color saddle, in brown leather on the top and in brown leather on the sides black “alcantara-look”., integrates perfectly with the look of the angular matte gray tank equipped with new knee protectors. Finally, the wide footrests allow the rider to shift his body weight during acceleration, braking and fast corners.
