Yamaha MT 09 Street Rally: the solution of continuity from Brianza to Vladivostok

938 km a day, in the saddle for two weeks

from Brianza, driving the gritty one Yamaha MT 09 Street Rally, Up to Vladivostok, the extreme eastern geographical cape of Russia. This is the feat accomplished by Gianclaudio Aiossa, passionate about two wheels and routes with extreme atmospheres. With a uniform march of 938 kilometers per day for two consecutive weeks, the pilot from Caserta thus established an impressive record on the terrain of the legendary "Trans-Siberian".

During the arduous undertaking the motorcyclist crossed seven different countries, with thirteen different stops, and multiple time zones which however did not weaken the intrepid man, leading him to the Far East of Asia, to the threshold of Japan. During the Eurasian route, Aiossa was assisted by geolocalization technologies which allowed him to benefit from the best travel strategies.

At the same time the merit of the individual must also be underlined the longevity and strength of the Yamaha MT 09 Street Rally, which has proven to be a truly resistant "beast". A three-cylinder engine that for all 12.188 kilometres, bumpy and irregular from the point of view of the terrain it covers, it has not given the slightest sign of slowing down and certainly deserves praise. In particular, as regards the type of route, according to Aiossa's statements, the two-wheeler reacted perfectly to a varied number of situations. Geology has in fact called the MT 09 Street Rally, and consequently its tyres, in comparison with disjointed gravel, dust and mud, sand and rough rocky surfaces.
In Aiossa's final declarations a lot of joy and the right awareness of the facts, for an undertaking faced with the vigor and constancy of those who have never abandoned or lost sight of their final objective.
