Redefined design and Euro 5 approved engine

A new front light signature and several other functional features characterize the renewed one Yamaha MT-07.

Aesthetics

An evolution that can already be perceived from the front, as mentioned, by observing the new light setting a Y. But other aspects are also listed such as: directional indicators always a LED , the new tapered handlebar wider than 32 millimetres, the graphics and colours, the conveyors, the adoption of on-screen instrumentation LCD with remote controls and overall compactness.
Also standing out are the new covers linked to the redefined 14-litre tank, developed in injection-moulded plastic resin. Then the knee covers highlighted by a 3D texture.

Technology

The frame is compact and the saddle height amounts to 805 mm. Among the most interesting introductions is a front braking system with larger dimensions of the double front disc, now 298 mm, intensifying stopping power. The disc behind it is 245 mm. Speaking of tires, we highlight Michelin Road 5 specimens measuring 120/70-17 at the front and 180/55-17 at the rear.

Motor

The revised crossplane twin-cylinder propulsive heart CP2 da 690 cc, Euro 5 approved, is connected to a new ECU with refined injection settings, therefore there is also a new 2-into-1 intake and exhaust duct. Also highlighted is a 270-degree timing with a sequence of irregular bursts and intense vocal expression, as indicated.
The maximum power is 73,4 horses at 9.000 rpm, compared to the 74,8 horsepower expressed by the previous model, therefore a peak torque of 67 Nm at 6.500 rpm. A ported version is also proposed 35 kW for license holders A2.

Proposal

In the clothes icon blue, Storm Fluo, TechBlack, a varied range of accessories and a list price of 6.999 euros are indicated. Deliveries to Yamaha dealers will begin from January 2021.
