yamaha Motor announced that it has reviewed the CO2 emission reduction objectives in the 2050 environmental plan of the Yamaha Motor group, hereinafter referred to as “Environmental Plan 2050” and initially formulated in 2018, with a new goal to aim for carbon neutrality in all phases of its activities, including through the life cycles of its products, by 2050.

yamaha Motor has always promoted a type of personal mobility with a reduced environmental impact and low CO2 emissions during the life cycle of each product, from procurement, to production, to use and finally to disposal. Aiming for emissions reductions in 2050, Yamaha Motor will continue to offer new forms of unique mobility alongside classic motorcycles and scooters.
The review of Environmental Plan 2050 restores the prospects for the Yamaha Motor Group by 2050, in addition to the objectives to be achieved by 2030 and 2035. We note the formulation of a medium-term plan every three years with initiatives and activities towards the set goals.
Based on the review, Yamaha Motor will further increase efforts to achieve carbon neutrality and, achieving the goals, will continue to foster emotions.
