Yamaha Motor Italy present an new collaboration in the helmet sector started with the famous French company Shark-Helmets – for over twenty years among the world leaders in the creation of helmets with the highest levels of performance and protection.

The collaboration between the Marseille-based helmet company and the historic brand of the three tuning forks, centered on the common values ​​of innovation, quality and safety, takes shape in development and distribution of the French brand's products through Official Dealers and Yamaha Scooter Stores.

In particular Shark Helmets is present in over 200 official sales points Yamaha Motor Italy with the entire 2013 helmet range, an offer capable of best satisfying the needs of all two-wheel lovers, including the most demanding, thanks to 4 product lines: Racing Division, Pulse Division, Discovery Division e Metro Division,

Example of the new partnership with Shark Helmets, the first company to have produced on an industrial level, way back in 1991, a carbon fiber helmet, will be a full-face helmet belonging to the Racing Division line and dedicated to the new and captivating Yamaha Race Blue color, original livery available starting this year on all the sports models in the Iwata range: the two naked FZ8 and XJ6, as well as obviously the supersport Yamaha YZF-R1, YZF-R6 and the small YZF-R125.

New for 2013 is the integral Race-R Pro Carbon: evolution of the previous top of the range Race-R Pro, now available in the carbon graphics, which has always been a distinctive trademark of Shark Helmets. In particular the model designed for Yamaha Motor Italy it will be called Race-R Pro Carbon “Race Blu Replica” 2013, created to satisfy the most important needs of pilots in top level competitions: lightness, stability, comfort and ventilation.
