Yamaha staff are present for any assistance and to illustrate the characteristics of each vehicle, the maintenance needs and the correct use of accessories and dedicated components. The event is also branded Yamalube, which represents the special range of oils and products for the care and cleaning of vehicles. To take part in the test rides you must register on the portal and have specific requirements. Those interested in motorcycle trials must have a valid motorcycle license and possess their own technical clothing, together with a helmet and protections. To participate in the Flat Track activity, each participant must have a motorcycle license and have the necessary technical clothing, helmet and protection. A proprietary high boot is also mandatory.
ATV enthusiasts, however, must be of age, have a B license and wear their own helmet and long clothing. Those who want to have fun on e-bikes must have dedicated technical clothing. The helmet can be provided on site, according to the information.
The start of the test rides will be communicated via social channels and booking can be made online. At the Junior Moto School initiatives, with the provision of protection and helmets for children and to board the Side by Side as passengers, it is possible to register directly on site to take part in the activities. Minors must be accompanied by their parents who will sign the liability release. There will also be a competition for all those who register on the Yamaha portal and to remember the day, a site will be created where photos of the event will be uploaded. Each participant will have a QR code that will allow them to download the images.
Another interesting moment is the Prologue Ténéré Challenge, the first seasonal event involving the pilots registered in the Ténéré Challenge. On a developed route there will be test rounds and a timed session to decide the winners of the day. At the end of the event, prizes will be awarded to the top three riders classified in the respective PRO and GPX classes.
At the event, as a partner of Yamaha, the presence of Airoh is also expected with a space where helmets from the 2023 Off Road collection will be displayed; Dunlop with the D908RR tires designed specifically for Rally Raid or road; of Formaboots which will display the collection of boots in the Temporary Shop and there is also the possibility of trying the Adventure line during the test rides; by Garmin with the test of Montana and Zumo devices.
Those who want to get acquainted with off-road driving can take part in the driving course by Tom42. In the case of learning the first notions and then launching into an adventure, the Bushcraft & Ténéré Course by Di Traverso Adventouring with the first basic techniques is highlighted. Instead, Flat Track enthusiasts can take part in the course with the Di Traverso School with professor Marco Belli on an oval track created for the occasion. There is also an advanced off-road course for more experienced motorcyclists.
When traveling by motorbike or off-road challenges, another important aspect is navigation and Yamaha, in partnership with Garmin, has designed a road test ride with navigation course by Moto Raid Experience. The multiple champion Alessandro Botturi, among those present at the event, will provide important information.
Moving then to the means Yamaha ATVs, a dedicated route is planned for those who want to know the character of these specimens. An experience that can also be lived virtually in front of a simulator. While aboard a high-performance specimen YXZ1000R, it will be possible to appreciate as a passenger the strength of this vehicle driven by a professional driver.
For the first time, the Yamaha Moro e-bike e wabash, being able to move among the scenic beauties of the area on specifically designed itineraries.
The experience will also involve the little ones, as mentioned, considering the Junior Moto School and the opportunity to safely test the models PW50 e TTR125 available for small enthusiasts starting from 6 years old. The smaller ones will be able to exercise with the balance bikes on a route created for the occasion.
Finally, given the Yamaha - ACI Sport agreement, for the second year the program continues which seeks to grow new talents in four wheels, starting from the Side By Side panorama. The 25st Stage 1 is scheduled for March 2023th in Maggiora with the first group of young riders on board YXZ1000Rs equipped with Pirelli tyres, an important partner.
