Yamaha Motor: Franco Picco and a new challenge at the Gibraltar Race 2021 with Ténéré 700

Franco Picco will take part in Gibraltar Race 2021 riding a new example of Yamaha Tenere 700. An edition held in Italy and called on the occasion The Boot, "the boot".

The expert Franco Picco will appear as the flag bearer of the Ténéré Spirit in the appointment that will start from Liguria the next 23nd June.
His debut in the raid panorama took place in 1985 riding a Yamaha, since then several successes and 27 appearances in the famous and demanding marathon along the desert paths. The last one faced at the age of 65.
An expert explorer among the most well-known specialists internationally. Franco Picco will take part in the new commitment which will end this year8 July always in Liguria.
A challenge over 7.000 kilometers long across 15 Italian regions, in a series of evocative, challenging and scenic stretches; ranging from coastal panoramas to hilly or mountainous interiors, also covering areas characterized by the presence of lakes, green extensions or volcanoes. A journey through the colors of the Italian landscape, in an adventure made lively by scenic beauty and the variety of road sections.
Franco Picco will ride a Yamaha Ténéré 700 covered with a livery that recalls the historic Ténéré 600 dating back to the XNUMXs.
