The brand experience Yamaha in the field e-bike dates back to 1993, about 30 years ago, with the concept Yamaha PAS. Since then the path has evolved and, within the strategy Switch ON Yamaha referring to electric personal mobility, a new chapter opens with the introduction of three new Yamaha e-bikes for the MTB, Gravel and Urban segments: Moor 07, Wabash RT e CrossCore RC.

Yamaha Crosscore RC

Upholstered in the colours Shiver White e Urban Sage and proposed in three sizes, this city e-bike appears elegant and practical. A versatile model that can be an alternative to using the car, which can be combined with accessories for trekking activities when you are outside the urban context.
The design is simple and refined at the same time, designed to respond to a varied public looking for a zero-emission vehicle to move easily around the city. The interface of the display A by Yamaha from which to receive essential information.
It features various technologies offered on various premium range e-MTBs, including Yamaha's zero cadence technology and the automatic support mode with inclination sensor, functional for dynamism, especially in case of strong winds or on slopes.
To the motor unit PW-ST low noise is combined with a Shimano SL-M2010-9R chain transmission with a maximum torque of 70 Nm, a heart powered by a battery of 500 Wh.

Yamaha Wabash RT

A gravel bike proposed in three sizes and coated with one color Blue Steel. A distinctive shade for this model aimed at an audience of sports enthusiasts, who appreciate exploring ever-changing paths.
The ergonomics of the frame are designed to facilitate a relaxed type of riding and are adjustable, given the travel of the telescopic seat tube. 40 millimeters, adapting the positioning according to the cyclist's needs.
The chassis and drive unit, like the rest of Yamaha's production, were made according to a holistic principle to have the best balance between power and handling of the chassis.
Also in this case a display A by Yamaha designed to respond to enthusiasts of the Gravel segment by providing essential and easily readable information on a large format LCD screen, as specified. Among the indications we highlight: the speedometer, the assistance mode setting and a battery capacity indicator. Support mode can be operated using a button.
This e-bike is equipped with tubeless ready rims and an integrated battery from 500 Wh, which together with the compact motor unit PW-ST with zero cadence technology, they create a symbiosis with the frame and also aesthetics.
Along with the geometric elegance of the model, it highlights the support of safe and dynamic driving with the automatic support mode that uses technologies with four sensors and those of inclination, to provide greater power when driving uphill or when there is turbulence .

The colors combined with the e-MTB model are icon blue e Raven/Silver and is available in three dimensions, like the previous examples.
It is recognizable by the connotative design with a double frame and is equipped with a motor unit PW-X3 high torque, functional choices from a performance point of view and for use on demanding routes.
The Dual Twin frame is designed to offer an optimal balance of rigidity, precision, fast response and high-level agility. Features that support easy handling that allows you to tackle various terrains, from high-speed roads to technical single track.
The chassis of the Yamaha Moro 07 was defined together with the PW-X3 engine unit, following a holistic approach. The small dimensions as well as the weight of the engine unit have allowed an ideal chassis configuration, a functional height from the ground and a short wheelbase that supports its agility.
Always keeping in mind the small dimensions of the PW-X3 motor unit, it was possible to shape a rear suspension with a travel of 150 mm with the RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock placed between the two upper tubes. The RockShox LYRIK SELECT Charger fork offers 160 mm of travel up front, then there are 27,5 x 2,6 inch Maxxis tires that promise flexibility, traction and sensitivity along the trails.
Among the interesting aspects also a minimalist X interface with smartphone connectivity, visible in the handlebar area and equipped with ergonomic modal buttons, a Yamaha battery capacity indicator from 500 Wh and a color assist mode indicator. Bluetooth® Low Energy technology allows connectivity with the smartphone through compatible apps. The X Interface is compatible with various cycle computers.
The model is paired with powerful and modular Magura MT5 brakes and a Shimano XT -1×12 gearbox. As mentioned, the drive unit is a Yamaha PW-X3, compact and light, weighing just 2,75 kg, with a narrow Q factor that allows the cyclist to receive high performance. A heart equipped with zero cadence technology, obtaining instant power delivery at the slightest intervention on the pedal. A drive unit at the top of the category considering the power/weight ratio and torque 85 Nm, with accentuated power at high cadence.
Also highlighted is the inclusion of new gears and a new freewheel, which attenuate mechanical losses, supporting a natural reactive sensation at high speeds.

Availability

E-bikes Yamaha Moro 07, Wabash RT e CrossCore RC will be offered through Yamaha's network of Powered Two Wheelers dealers starting since December 2022.
