Yamaha Hyper Naked: the revolution in the naked two-wheel sector

Yamaha – Just five years after the release of the MT-09, Yamaha writes another important page in the history of its naked bikes, now revised with a new look, but above all a project revised on a technical and functional level.

Yamaha's Hyper Naked segment experienced immediate success among riders who were looking for pure riding pleasure. The Yamaha Hyper Naked models have brought a new look, a previously unknown energy and a dominant character to the streets of Europe, with a design focused on linear torque, agility and an excellent weight/power ratio. Since the arrival of the first MT-09, the Hyper Naked range has grown rapidly to include seven models, from the flagship MT-10 SP up to the MT-125, with each one winning favor with the public in its own category. In just five years, sales in Europe have exceeded 175.000 units, for a range that has become the most popular of Yamaha production, with the MT-09 and MT-07 always at the top of the charts of the best-selling models in their respective segments.

Yamaha Hyper Naked: new Ice Fluo livery for 2019

Yamaha has completely changed the Hyper Naked scene with the introduction of the radical Night Fluo colorways. Eye-catching and original, these liveries have enhanced the dynamic character of the MT range and are the perfect complement to the challenging and extroverted personalities of many Hyper Naked riders. For 2019 Yamaha raises the level of the MT's aggressive and savvy image, with an evolution of the Fluo concept. The energetic Ice Fluo, an uncompromising color, not only underlines the assertive character of the Hyper Naked Yamaha, but also creates an instantly recognizable look that strengthens the family feeling among MT owners. The new Ice Fluo color is exclusive to the Yamaha MT range and consists of a new ultra-trendy ice gray color for the painted parts, in contrast with the fluorescent red rims and black for the engine, frame, fork and headlight, with the logo of three tuning forks on the tank or vents. The new Ice Fluo livery will be offered on every MT Hyper Naked model (except the SP versions which have exclusive colors), while the Yamaha Blue and Tech Black colors will still be available. The motorbikes will be available, depending on the model, from October 2018 and December 2018.

Yamaha Hyper Naked: an app to create the bike of your dreams

Among the most interesting innovations from Yamaha is the free MyGarage app, which allows you to create a collection based on your dreams. The app, in fact, allows you to add or remove a wide selection of Genuine Options accessories and you can see the bike from every point of view. Once you have created the motorcycle you want, you can save it and share it with friends. Once the final version is ready, simply send it to your Yamaha dealer, who will turn the dream into reality.
