Yamaha FJ-09, never was a shot so fatal

Yamaha FJ-09 – Keep the new secret Yamaha's FJ-09, as it will be called in America, was a disaster from day one. Many months ago the existence of the bike was revealed when the Japanese company registered the trademark 'FJ' leaving little doubt that she would be a tourer while the label '09' it has always been a clear link to the MT -09 or the FZ-09 as it is called in the US.

A little later black and white photos of the bike appeared when Yamaha patented its appearance. And now, as they say, to add insult to injury, as someone at Yamaha appears to have accidentally uploaded a shot of the FJ-09 to the company's website which was promptly captured by the American media. The photo was quickly removed, but not before someone saw it and downloaded it.

It will probably also be called FJ in Europe and we are talking about a Crossovers, with chassis and mechanics unchanged compared to the MT, but which it will have more space and greater comfort for the pilot. The new addition to Yamaha also pays attention to aerodynamics with a fair-sized fairing and a longer tail, while the front will have the two classic almond-shaped eyes in the typical family feeling of the brand and a central air intake.

Yamaha also decided to increase the tank capacity, which will be wider, and will connect to the fairing via two extensions with air vents, one on each side. Now we just wait the EICMA in Milan, starting on November 4th, to see it in all its beauty and to remove those last doubts about its real appearance.
