Yamaha is the official partner of “Old School Racing”

Yamaha – Last July 11th at the Mugello International Circuit, Alessandro Gramigni, 125 World Champion in 1992 and Italian SBK Champion in 2004, presented 'Old School Racing', a new program of on-track courses in collaboration with Promo Racing.

Yamaha Motor Europe – Italian Branch is its official partner, supporting the new school, which will operate on an international scale, with its YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 super sports bikes. Supported by the presence and help of other pilots who were companions in recent or past adventures such as Luca Cadalora, Mattia Pasini and Gianluca Nannelli, the imaginative Florentine pilot illustrated all the details of the new project which he will involve in various European circuits in the coming months (Mugello, Misano , Jerez and Valencia) many fans of adrenaline on the track with the desire to improve their sporting performance and the set-up of their bike.

'Old School Racing', through the numerous experiences gathered in over twenty-five years lived by Gramigni in the most important competitions in the world, will thus teach the registered drivers how to lower their lap times and, more generally, the best approach to have between the curbs. Two courses are scheduled (maximum ten people per course): one day or two, both characterized by theoretical sessions in the classroom through photo and video projections, and those on the track with technical and practical insights and face-to-face comparisons on the asphalt you with Gramigni.
