Yamaha bLU cRU: an Italian indicated in the next generation of riders

Reported by Yamaha MotorEurope the drivers selected to take part in the championship WorldSSP300 2020, therefore the winners of the bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup YZ125, YZ85 e YZ65 speaking of motocross, after the Yamaha Masterclass 2019 on Alcarrás Circuit and the Spanish route Bellpuig MX. Also among the names listed Giacomo Mora, born in 2002, arrived from Reggio Emilia and was born in Carpi, as reported.

A new Italian talent

The seventeen-year-old Italian made his debut on a specimen Yamaha of R-125 Cup linked to AG Motorsport Italia, placing fourth overall on the season 2017. Then later, in a higher category, he ranked fifth in theR3 cup. In the 2019 season, again with AG Motorsport Italia nello Junior Team Yamaha, placed fifth overall in the SuperSport 300 CIV. She ran like wild card also in the 2019 Superbike World Championship, during the stages of Misano e Imola.

The formula

The initiative blue cRU di Yamaha deals with young European talents. Started in 2015 with motocross riders in the 125cc class in mind, the project evolved in 2017 to deal with track races and there was also an opening to motocross, including this season the 85 cc and 65 cc bands, therefore accompanying the young talents from first stages up to the world stages through Yamaha's racing structures. Over 1000 young people, so far, have grown up in the competitive world by participating in Yamaha's bLU cRU project.
It starts with a selection during the annual bLU cRU cRU Masterclass, held this year in Lleida, Spain, in front of the bLU cRU Racing Manager of Yamaha Motor Europe, Alberto Barozzi and the Yamaha MX coordinator, Thorsten Lentink. Also appearing on the Bellpuig MX mantle were Jeremy Seewer and Gautier Paulin, members of the official Yamaha Monster Energy MXGP team, the former 250 cc Motocross champion, Jacky Vimond and Loïc Le Foll, Team Principal of the official MJC Yamaha EMX125 team, as reported .
The official Pata Yamaha WorldSBK Team rider, Michael Van Der Mark, the official YART Yamaha Yamaha EWC rider, Niccolò Canepa, the GMT94 Yamaha WorldSSP Team Manager Christophe Guyot and the cRU bLU coach and former 125 world championship rider Joey Litjens, attended also to the selection procedures on the Alcarrás track.
In the last round of the bLU cRU cRU Masterclass, 23 riders engaged on the track and 13 motocross riders were protagonists. Yamaha Motor Europe itself indicates its support for the winners in 2020. Others selected

Among the names selected also include the seventeen-year-old Iberian Beatrice Neila (second season with bLU cRU) and her compatriot and Superbike Junior champion Unai Orradre 15 years old. So Sasha deVis, 18 year old Belgian; German Alan Kroh 15 years old; the nineteen year old Brazilian Tom Kawakami and the 16 year old Turk Bahatin Sofuoglu.
The sixteen-year-old Latvian triumphed in the YZ125 bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup Mairis Pumpurs, selected to support the talented Dutch drivers Kay Karssemakkers e Ivano van Erp in the official MJC Yamaha EMX125 team.
With the support of Yamaha Motor Europe in 2020, appearing as winners of the first edition of the bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup YZ85 and YZ65, the thirteen-year-old was also indicated Zoltan Ordog from Romania on the YZ85 and the very young Swede Freddie Bartlett, 10 years old, riding a YZ65, always repeating what was communicated.
