Yamaha, the new motorcycle range at Intermot 2014

The models will be presented in Cologne in October

Ad Intermot 2014 there will be no shortage of innovations that will give strong emotions to the world of motorcyclists. It is certainly among the most anticipated motorcycle manufacturers Yamaha which will be presented with the new one in Cologne Yamaha MT-07 Motorcycle Cage, belonging to the MT Series range, inspired by the "Dark Side of Japan", which offers an immediate feeling of fun thanks to a series of chassis components inspired by the stunt world.

The new Yamaha MT-07 will feature a new color, Matt Grey, with special graphics on the tank and tail, and a series of new exclusive components, such as the bars mounted on the frame and under the engine, which make it a real stunt bike . Its unique charm will also be enhanced by the red front rim, combined with the black rear rim with red thread, which together with the other chassis components also painted red, underline its road-inspired look.

The Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage can be further customized with the Akrapovic exhaust, developed specifically for this model, which gives it even more character, and with a vast series of dedicated original accessories, including air intake protectors, the side panels in steel mesh and painted in red, the special license plate holder and the extension for the side stand.

To celebrate the arrival of the new Yamaha MT-07 Moto Cage, the Yamaha team has added three-time World Champion Rafał Pasierbek, better known as Stunter 13, as official Yamaha stunt rider, who visitors to Intermot 2014 will be able to admire live driving an MT-07 Moto Cage in the performance area. There Yamaha MT-07 Motorcycle Cage my 2015 will cost 6.690 euros and will go on sale starting from October.

Another protagonist in Cologne will be the Yamaha XJR 1300, from the sport classic range, which is renewed for 2015 without moving too far from its "Japanese Performance Classic" origins, with clean lines, inspired by collaborations with manufacturers of the caliber of Wrenchmonkees and DEUS Ex Machina, and the air-cooled engine with a higher displacement. The friendship with Keino instead led to the birth of the XJR1300 “Rhapsody in Blue” version which further contributed to inspiring the development of the new model.

The racing world has instead inspired, for example, the slender tank and the single seat, which thus further highlight the new engine, whose exhaust is a 4 into 2 into 1 equipped with a new black muffler; the tail has been reduced to a minimum, together with the narrower 14.5 liter tank, which make the silhouette of the new XJR even more compact and defined. The powerful air-cooled DOHC 4-cylinder engine delivers a power of 98 HP and a torque of 108 Nm counterbalanced by the anti-friction DLC fork legs and the two Ohlins shock absorbers, as standard, which make the bike easy to ride, thanks also to the wider handlebars and closer to the rider, for a more upright riding position. The new Yamaha XJR1300 my 2015 will be available in Matt Grey, Power Blue and Midnight Black, at a price of 10.390 euros.

The new Yamaha XJR1300 Racer was born from the collaboration with Deus Ex Machina, which first created the XJR1300 Eau Rouge and then inspired the new XJR1300 Racer, equipped with a series of components created for the occasion and which define a surprising motorcycle with a vintage style. The design is a tribute to the legendary Café Racer of the seventies embodied by the design of the carbon fairing, the short front mudguard and the half handlebars, as well as the style of the single seat enhanced by the carbon cover, which completes the look and offers a style of sportier driving, typical of the Café Racer. The new Yamaha XJR1300 Racer is available in the three colors of the standard version, namely Matt Grey, Blue Metallic and Midnight Black, at the price of 11.590 euros.

After launching in 2014 the 125 Yamaha YZF-R2015 it will join the version with ABS, to offer drivers who love performance an even wider choice, and both they will be available in Race Blue, Matt Gray and a new Racing Red color, at a price of 4.490 euros (4.890 for the version with ABS).

At the Intermot in Cologne Yamaha will present the model Super Ténéré “Destination Adventure”, which was inspired by Nick Sanders, one of the most famous adventure riders in the world, holder of several records on two wheels. Sanders will be the ideal brand ambassador for the Yamaha Adventure range and, thanks to his new Destination Adventure programme, will offer a series of tours organized in different locations that will not fail to attract Yamaha riders who love exploration.
