X-lite X-1004 Ultra Carbon: a flip-up helmet with carbon construction

X-lite X-1004 Ultra Carbon represents the new openable proposal “high carbon”, as reported by the manufacturer.

Features

Among the aspects of this helmet, with double approval P / J, contained volume and weight values, considering a construction rich in carbon, noting for example the external shell proposed in three different sizes and varied sizes, ranging from a XXS (54 cm circumference) to one XXXL (65 cm in circumference), taking the instructions from the dedicated web page.
Among the other features listed: one VPS sun screen, a solution for opening the chin guard via a double action mechanism, a retention system with double lever micrometric adjustment Microlock2, a ventilation system (Touring Ventilation System) and compatibility with the communication system N-Com.
The double approval P / J allows it to be used both with the chin guard open, i.e. the marked configuration "J", then closed which corresponds to the configuration "P". The same protective chin guard “passes the approval tests required by UN/ECE regulations for full-face helmets”, as reported.
