Wunderlich Adventure: a range of accessories aimed at Ducati DesertX

The division Wunderlic Adventure presented a new range of accessories dedicated to Ducati DesertX. A model that combines classic aspects with sophisticated technological solutions, powerful and versatile considering the technical part and a 21-inch front wheel.

A varied proposal

There are and will be various Wunderlich products addressed to Ducati DesertX and by visiting the “Wunderlich-Adventure” portal it is possible to find out about the proposal divided into macro-categories. A range of accessories including windshield, protections and saddles, the new range dedicated to the Ducati DesertX will also be presented at the IMOT events in Munich scheduled for 24 to 26 February and Motorräder Dortmund scheduled for 2 to 5 March.
Starting from a Wunderlich MARATHON windshield for Ducati DesertX, it represents one of the reference products of the German accessories specialist.

Care was taken in its definition while respecting the overall design and proportions of the bike. This accessory, designed to protect from wind and weather, has an ergonomic structure based on driving comfort and passive safety. In smoky gray colour, this screen is 5 millimeters thick and among other aspects highlights an anti-scratch treatment, resistance to petrol and UV rays and edges worked and finished by hand. According to what has been reported, considering its appearance and dimensions, the windshield promises a reduction in wind pressure on the head, torso and shoulders, as well as a reduction in turbulence and noise. The indicated price is 194,69 euros (VAT included).

One is also highlighted rigid protection for the Wunderlich hull developed in steel, which embraces part of the motorbike. In combination with the Wunderlich crash bar, in addition to the protection of the headlights, radiator and other protective elements included in the Adventure line, the fairing protection defines a set that reinforces passive safety.

The risk of damaging the model while maneuvering can be avoided thanks to the Wunderlich protection, which protects the front fairing and the side part of the water radiator. In the event of a fall, the system releases forces onto the attachment points via the paramotor structure, attenuating impact and inertia forces. The protection is coated in black and is made of 25 mm steel tubes. It is made up of two elements machined on CNC tube bending machines, carefully welded. For this product we report a figure of 327,04 euros (VAT included).


The accessories also include Wunderlich AKTIVKOMFORT driver and passenger seats. Solutions characterized by exclusive qualities and a functional style.
According to information, with the ThermoPro covering the seat temperature under the summer sun is kept up to 25° C lower than with saddles covered with untreated materials.
As on the AKTIVKOMFORT solutions, the type of structure and the weight of the motorcyclist distributed evenly over a more generous surface prevent the padding from deforming, making the load on the lower back and coccyx lighter.

The AKTIVKOMFORT saddles are made with a distinctive 3D ergonomic edging that allows the rider to enter into symbiosis with the vehicle. The shape and inclination of the saddle, with a progressive two-layer structure, allow a natural and functional posture for the correct positioning of the back and knees.
The lining promotes grip even when braking and the aforementioned 3D ergonomic edging reduces the pressure on the inner thigh when you stop. For the driver's seat, a price of 409,06 euros (VAT included) is indicated, for the passenger seat 357,80 euros (VAT included).
