WDW 2018 | Great success for the auction of the special V4s on eBay

Saturday 21 July at 13pm Dovizioso, Lorenzo, Petrucci, Miller, Melandri, Rinaldi, Pirro, Simeon, Abraham, Rabat, Fores and the legend Troy Bayliss competed in the traditional "Race of Champions" organized on the occasion of World Ducati Week 00, held in Misano.

The twelve Ducati riders competed aboard special Panigale V4s in racing configuration and customized livery: the winner was Michele Pirro, who recovered strongly from the frightening accident at Mugello in June, ahead of Rabat and Fores.

The bikes have a livery dedicated to each rider, inspired by the colors used in MotoGP or WorldSuperbike and a series of special components used during the "Race of Champions", as well as all the original parts, including exhausts, necessary for homologation and road use of the motorbike.

All this because the real surprise came after the race: the thirteen unique pieces, including Davies' bike who didn't race due to injury, ended up in a public auction on eBay, in a special section of the Ducati Store.
Throughout this week, fans, enthusiasts and collectors of two wheels have the opportunity to win pieces that are both unique and have infinite symbolic value: the offers will end tomorrow, Saturday 28 July at 18.00 pm.

Up to this moment the most requested is Troy Bayliss's Panigale V4, which leads everyone with a resounding offer of €120.350, followed by Dovizioso's at a great distance at €47.900 followed by Melandri's at €45.400 and that of Lorenzo at €45.000.
The V4 of the winner of the "Race of Champions", Michele Pirro, is at €41.350, while the least requested at the moment are those of the new Ducati rider Petrucci, stuck at €32.200, and Simeon, stuck at €31.250.
