A unique style, inspired by the origins of Vespa
The style of the new Vespa Sei Giorni is an explicit reference to the classic nature of the Vespa. Characterizing elements are the "low headlight", i.e. the positioning of the light unit on the front mudguard as well as the handlebar which on the original Vespa Sei Giorni, as in the Vespas of the time, was characterized by the simplicity of the exposed metal tube. A solution of great stylistic charm and rational construction that the new model takes up, enriching it with elegant circular instrumentation with analogue speedometer on a white background. A reference to the original Vespa style, however accompanied by ultra-modern technological equipment which ensures the rider a wealth of information. A further distinctive element of the front of the Vespa Sei Giorni is the burnished fairing that elegantly wraps the instruments. The general aesthetic follows the stylistic features of the sportiest Vespas with the black number plate taken directly from the livery of the Vespas of the legendary Racing Team of the 50s, and is enhanced by completely black details - such as the rims and the exhaust silencer - and by bold details red. The sportiness of the Vespa Sei Giorni is also underlined by the single-seater look saddle (but actually also approved for the passenger) in double covering with piping, electro-welded stitching on the seat and contrasting white stitching. Finally, on the back shield, the "Special Edition" plate with the serial number recalls the uniqueness of this special model.

Comfort and safety
Vespa Sei Giorni embodies the typical values ​​of the Vespa GTS range such as style, comfort and safety: like all versions of the large-body Vespa, Vespa Sei Giorni boasts generous under-seat storage and a large, comfortable seat. The ergonomics are perfect Vespa ones, enhanced by the comfort of the large body; the seat is natural and allows total control of the vehicle and absolute comfort even over long distances.

Vespa Sei Giorni: the origin of a myth

It was 1951 and the Piaggio Racing Team stunned the world of competition by triumphing against real off-road motorbikes in one of the toughest and most prestigious races. After the war, regularity races experienced their greatest moment: they were grueling tests, on very tough courses, hundreds of kilometers long. An extraordinary testing ground for men and equipment.
The most prestigious competition was the Six Days International which, now in its 26th edition, took place in Varese. The ten Vespas at the start were met with general skepticism: what could they have done against real motorbikes designed for competitions? Instead, Vespa, with the model created specifically for that race starting from the Sport version, dominated, winning 9 individual gold medals. It was an overwhelming supremacy, achieved on arduous off-road routes and with a test of pure speed on the Monza circuit, which also earned Piaggio the Industry Gold Medal as the only Italian team to win the test. The Vespa “Sei Giorni”, which was born and took its name from that victory, was a vehicle aesthetically very similar to the standard model, from which it was distinguished above all by the larger fuel tank, the more enveloping shield and the larger right side bag for accommodate the carburettor on the cylinder.
